I have never posed in front of a photographer and I dare not book a session. What to do ?

A first session can be stressful if you’ve never done one before. The sessions that I present on my website were made with people who had never done a photo shoot themselves.

Before the session, we plan a telephone meeting to discuss and give you some advice. An advice guide will be e-mailed to you before the session.

I will be there throughout the session to guide you through the poses and advise you. For portrait sessions alone, you can come accompanied if you wish.

If you wish, ESTIM sessions can help you regain your self-confidence.

How should I prepare for the session?

When you book, I’ll send you a guide with a few tips to help you get ready. It will also be an opportunity for you to discuss your questions and wishes. There’s also lots of advice on the blog.

When will I receive my photos?

The photos will be sent to you digitally in standard quality on an online gallery within an average of six weeks of receipt of payment. Delays depends on the time of year.

If you need the images for a specific date, do not hesitate to let me know when making an appointment and we will agree on the delivery date. Express delivery ensures orders within the week.

Depending on the options selected, photos can be sent in high quality via USB key.

Where can I do the photo shoot? Are you moving?

All photo sessions can be done outdoors, or at your home. I travel wherever my projects take me, and travel costs are extra for projects over 30 km from Toulouse. Travel costs are €0.50/km.

Photo shoots are available from Tuesday to Saturday, from sunrise to sunset, although there are more suitable times for the light.

Can I use photos from the session to post on social media?

Yes, you can use them for your personal social networks. You can share them (without modifying them) with your friends and family.

If you opted for a professional session, you can use them for your personal and professional social networks, as well as your website.

Why these prices?

As in many fields, rates are not regulated, and you can find all kinds of rates on the Internet, with different options, not always comparable.

When will I pay for the photo session? Are there payment facilities?

The deposit can be paid before the session by bank transfer, or by using the payment link on the website. On the day of the session, it is possible to pay by cash. Payment must be finalized on the day of the session. Session deposits are valid for a maximum of 6 months.

It is possible to pay in instalments and for wedding reports. Payment must be finalized two weeks before the report.

What environmental and societal commitments are made by the photographer?

I have made an environmental commitment, which you can find on the eco-responsibility charter . I also wrote an article on the blog to detail my commitments .

Do you give photography lessons? Is it possible to offer it?

Individual photography courses are regularly given. In addition, collective workshops are organized 6 times a year. They are announced on social networks.

You can offer a photo course. the  Nice present  is valid for one year. 

What is a lifestyle session?

Lifestyle sessions are sessions for individuals. They are carried out outdoors or at your home. As of June 1, 2023, the following types of sessions are available:

  • Mini-sessions – 2 photos (taken once or twice a year at a specific location)
  • Séances Concours – 3 photos
  • Discovery Session – 10 photos
  • Séance Classique – 1h
  • Complete session – 1h, with a studiobook worth 300€.
  • Estim sessions
 

Images are sent in digital format. There are no studio sessions performed by The Luuxx Photographer. 

What is the difference between "lifestyle" and "corporate" sessions?

The lifestyle sessions are intended for individuals, and the corporate sessions are intended for professionals (company, business creator, self-entrepreneur).

I have booked an outdoor photo session, but I see that it is forecast to rain or cloud, what should I do?

If you have booked an outdoor session, but the weather is not right, several options are possible. We can turn the session into a home session, or postpone the session to a later date.

For sessions that can’t be rescheduled, such as weddings, we’ll look into the possibility of choosing a covered venue.

However, the style and light shown in the images will depend on the weather that day.

Do the photos sent have a logo?

When you order a session, the photos are sent via an online gallery without a logo.

Can I offer a photo shoot?

Yes, you can offer a photo session. The gift voucher is valid for one year. The person to whom you wish to offer a photo session will receive an envelope with a personalized voucher.

Who owns the photos on this website?

All the images (landscapes, portraits, objects) which appear on this website are my property and cannot be used without my agreement for some uses.

How are images selected? Can I recover the original files?

The images sent are selected according to a number of technical criteria (sharpness, facial expression).

Original files are not sent and not retained after sending. For specific needs, you can come back to me when booking.

I prefer black and white photos, is it possible to have some?

I take black and white and color photos, for this, do not hesitate to specify it to me during our telephone conversation. This way, the photo gallery will contain monochrome photos.

What material is used?

The material used for the sessions is varied according to need. Two silent boxes of the latest generation are used as well as several lenses. Accessories may be used for specific requirements.

I have some wishes for the photo session, what should I do?

If you have any wishes or requirements, please let me know before the start of the session or report in the questionnaire.

If it’s possible, I’ll do my best to make it happen.

After the session, I won’t be able to satisfy your requests to the best of my ability.
